چکیده
The properties and performance of geopolymer concrete have been evaluated in numerous studies recent decades. One the fields study is evaluation durability aggressive environments. In this study, influence four experimental factors, including curing temperature (T), weight ratio sand to metakaolin (S/M), environment type (AE), exposure time (Et) were investigated on mechanical metakaolin-based (MGPC). Moreover, 5% sulfuric acid solution, sodium chloride Persian Gulf seawater used as Response surface methodology (RSM) was implemented statistically design analyze experiments. Mathematical models derived for prediction residual compressive strength (RFc), changes (∆W), (∆Fc) MGPC. analysis variance showed that all factors had a significant effect responses, while only AE-S/M AE-ET an interaction. Design-Expert software (DX7) employed optimization factors. Results revealed use optimum ratios S/M (2.52, 2.07, 1.29) at 46 °C 56 days led RFc values 34.12, 43.60, 44.15 acid, chloride, environments, respectively. These results, which are higher than minimum required concrete, along with ∆Fc ∆W values, confirm acceptable

Experimental Evaluation of the Durability of Fly Ash-based Geopolymer Concrete in the Marine Environment
The construction industry is increasingly turning to the use of environmentally friendly materials in order to meet the sustainable aspect required by modern infrastructures. Consequently, for the last two decades, the expansion of this concept, and the increasing global warming have raised concerns on the extensive use of Portland cement due to the high amount of carbon dioxide gas associated ...
متن کاملthe effect of taftan pozzolan on the compressive strength of concrete in the environmental conditions of oman sea (chabahar port)
cement is an essential ingredient in the concrete buildings. for production of cement considerable amount of fossil fuel and electrical energy is consumed. on the other hand for generating one tone of portland cement, nearly one ton of carbon dioxide is released. it shows that 7 percent of the total released carbon dioxide in the world relates to the cement industry. considering ecological issu...
Experimental Study on Strength and Durability Properties of Bio-Self-Cured Fly Ash Based Concrete under Aggressive Environments
High performance concrete is not only characterized by its high strength, workability, and durability but also by its smartness in performance without human care since the first day. If the concrete can cure on its own without external curing without compromising its strength and durability, then it is said to be high performance self-curing concrete. In this paper, an attempt is made on the pe...
متن کاملStudy of Metakaolin-Based Geopolymer with Addition of Polymer Admixtures
In the present work, metakaolin-based geopolymer including different polymer admixtures was studied. Different types of commercial polymer admixtures VINNAPAS® and polyethylene glycol of different relative molecular weight were used as polymer admixtures. The main objective of this work is to investigate the influence of different types of admixtures on the properties of metakaolin-based geopol...
